The Break O'Day River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the Break O'Day Plains , about 3 km south of St. Marys , not far from the east coast of Tasmania. From there it flows along the Esk Highway (A4) to the west and flows into the South Esk River about 2.5 km north of Fingal .
