Breakin ' is an American breakdance film from 1984. The film, directed by Joel Silberg, describes the life of a young jazz dancer who meets two breakdancers and is successful with them. The film came out in the same year as the better known and more commercially successful Beat Street .
The film gives a good impression of the hip-hop scene. Among other things, Ice-T , who portrays himself, and Jean-Claude Van Damme star in the film as dancers.
