The Lötschentaler Breithorn is a 3785  m high peak in the Valais in Switzerland . It is located south of the Lötschental in the Bernese Alps . The Lötschentaler Breithorn is part of the Bietschhorn chain. The northern slope forms the defining exposition .

The first ascent of the Lötschentaler Breithorn took place in 1869. The ascent mostly takes place from the south via the Baltschiederklause located in the Baltschiedertal at 2,783 meters or from the north from Blatten . Another route leads over the Oberaletschhütte to the east .
