Breitscheid is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

The formerly independent town of Breitscheid is located in the southwest of Seelscheid. Former neighboring towns in the east were Komp and Unterste Zeit , in the south-west is Busch .
history
In 1830 Breitscheid had 26 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had eleven Catholic and 18 Protestant residents (29) in eight houses. In 1888 there were 40 residents in eight houses.
In 1910, the farmer and carpenter August Bergfelder, the postman August Bergfelder, the farmer August Bilke, the day laborer and dance teacher Ernst Bilke, the farmer Heinrich Haas, the farmer Hermann Haas, the farmer and herb manufacturer Karl Schöneshöfer, the farmer Wilhelm Schöneshöfer (the herb manufacturer in Post Seelscheiduard ) and the farmyard operator lived here .
The settlement belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
