Brendan Cole (athlete)
Brendan Cole (born May 29, 1981 in Mackay ) is an Australian hurdler who specializes in the 400 meter distance . Because of his sprinting strength he is also used in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
At the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 , he was fifth in the 400m hurdles. In 2009 he was eliminated from the semifinals of the World Athletics Championships in Berlin .
In 2010 he was sixth at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and won the Australian 4 x 400 meter relay. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he reached the semi-finals over 400 m hurdles and was eliminated in the 4 x 400 meter relay in the preliminary run.
In 2006, 2010 and 2011 he was Australian champion.
