Brenneckenbrück is part of the municipality of Müden (Aller) (integrated municipality of Meinersen ) in the district of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony .

Geography and transport links

The place is located southeast of the core town Müden in the middle between the core towns Meinersen and Gifhorn directly on the Aller running south . The Oker flows to the west and flows into the Aller to the northwest in the center of Müden.

The Allerkanal , an 18 km long canal between Wolfsburg and Gifhorn , flows into the Aller at Brenneckenbrück . It was artificially created in the middle of the 19th century and is intended to protect agricultural areas against floods from the Aller.

The “ Viehmoornature reserve is to the south and the “ Fahle Heide, Gifhorner Heide ” nature reserve to the south-east .

The Landgasthof Im Wiesengrund, named after the Dralle family who owned it for many years, and the neighboring camping site Zum Wiesengrund , also belong to Brenneckenbrück, but to the east of the Aller and thus in the area of ​​the town of Gifhorn .
