Brenneckenbrück is part of the municipality of Müden (Aller) (integrated municipality of Meinersen ) in the district of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony .
Geography and transport links
The place is located southeast of the core town Müden in the middle between the core towns Meinersen and Gifhorn directly on the Aller running south . The Oker flows to the west and flows into the Aller to the northwest in the center of Müden.
The Allerkanal , an 18 km long canal between Wolfsburg and Gifhorn , flows into the Aller at Brenneckenbrück . It was artificially created in the middle of the 19th century and is intended to protect agricultural areas against floods from the Aller.
The “ Viehmoor ” nature reserve is to the south and the “ Fahle Heide, Gifhorner Heide ” nature reserve to the south-east .
The B 188 runs south.
The Brenneckenbrück estate belongs to Brenneckenbrück, it is located in the Ettenbüttel district . The oldest surviving document about Brenneckenbrück is a document from 1315, with which Knight Baldewin von Wenden transferred the Bethekenrode (Brenneckenbrück) and Gelide (Gilde) farms to the Riddagshausen monastery . Today's manor buildings were built on the basis of old structures in the first half of the 20th century. The Landgasthof Im Wiesengrund, named after the Dralle family who owned it for many years, and the neighboring camping site Zum Wiesengrund , also belong to Brenneckenbrück, but to the east of the Aller and thus in the area of the town of Gifhorn .
