from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brigade 8 is a neo-Nazi association in the style of a rocker club . This right-wing extremist form of organization is also known as "Brotherhood". The club comes from Schleswig-Holstein , but has several so-called chapters in unknown numbers.

history

"President" of the club, which is organized like a rocker club for all of Germany, is a right-wing extremist entrepreneur who also runs a merchandising business called Nordic War Clothing & Streetwear Company . Among the supporters of the clubs in the shipping trade is one central dispatch of Rene Herrman . The club's largest chapter was founded in Bremen. Further chapters are to exist in Thuringia, Saxony, Mecklenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia. The club uses symbols from the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang . The club's color is an iron cross with a skull in the middle and the words B8 Crew. The group uses frocks and typical names such as "President", but also NS names such as Gauleiter . On the Internet, especially on facebook and vk.com , members of Brigade 8 show symbols and gestures relevant to criminal law, such as swastikas and the Hitler salute .

The brotherhood is associated with the right-wing rock scene. Individual activists attended various events in this scene, and there are connections to the bands Bunker 16 , Endlöser and Punishment , among others . In addition, the right-wing rock band Legion Germania dedicated a song to the organization on their album Tag der Rache (2012, Freiheitsmelodien Tonträger). Brigade 8 shares its abbreviation 28 with the right-wing extremist organization Blood & Honor, which is banned in Germany .

In 2013, the Bremen and Schleswig-Holstein constitutional protection authorities warned of the group. In June 2013, an event by Brigade 8 in the Hanseatic city of Bremen was banned by Interior Senator Ulrich Mäurer ( SPD ). At the presentation of the Bremen Constitutional Protection Report 2012, he described the group as "anti-Semitic and in a blatant way inhuman".
