Brigasque
The Brigasque (Brigašc) are a language group in the Ligurian Alps .
They live in a few small villages between Liguria , Piedmont and the French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur : La Brigue and Morignole in the French department of Alpes-Maritimes , Realdo and Verdeggia in western Liguria and Piaggia, Upega, Carnino and Viozene in Piedmont . They form their own culture with their own variant of Ligurian with a strong Occitan influence , which is why they are sometimes also counted among the Occitanians .
