Brigitte Bierbauer-Hartinger

Brigitte Bierbauer-Hartinger (born April 11, 1961 in Feldbach ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Bierbauer-Hartinger was a member of the Austrian Federal Council sent by the Styrian Landtag from 2013 to 2015 .

Career

Brigitte Bierbauer-Hartinger was born in Feldbach in Styria and grew up there. From 1977 to 1979 she attended the commercial school in Feldbach, after which she worked as chief secretary in the private sector from 1981. From 1992 to 1995 she was on parental leave for her two sons. From 1995 she was employed again in a private office job. From 2010 to 2012 she worked in the sales and management of a wine and fruit growing company before she had to interrupt her professional career due to illness.

Brigitte Bierbauer-Hartinger was politically active from 1979 to 1983 in the young generation of the SPÖ in the Feldbach district . In 1980 she completed an internship in the office of the Styrian Cultural Initiative. In 2000 Bierbauer-Hartinger was elected to the municipal council of the market town of Sinabelkirchen for the first time , and in 2005 she became a member of the municipal board of the market town.

On December 4, 2013, Brigitte Bierbauer-Hartinger was sent by the Styrian state parliament to the Austrian Federal Council, where she remained a member until after the state elections in Styria in 2015 .
