Brigitte Pokornik

Brigitte Pokornik (* 1950 in Vienna ) is an Austrian children's book author and game designer .

Life

Pokornik first studied sociology and ethnology in Vienna. She then moved to the University of Applied Arts Vienna , which she graduated with success. After initially working as a designer and artist, she later devoted herself to designing picture books , which she published with Coppenrath Verlag , among others , and to developing games.

She wrote many of her books together with Karin Blume , has been translated into several languages ​​and has also been published as audio books .

In 2013 she received the German Learning Game Award for mimikri .
