Brita Lucie Collett Paus (born July 3, 1917 on Salsbruket in Kolvereid, today Nærøy ; † June 28, 1998 in Oslo ), born Brita Lucie Collett , was the founder of Fransiskushilfe , a charitable Catholic organization in Norway, and headed the organization volunteer from 1956 to 1993.
In 1950 she converted to Catholicism . She was chairman of the lay council of the Catholic diocese of Oslo , member of the Norwegian cancer council, board member of Caritas and member of state committees in the social policy area.
Brita Collett Paus was a daughter of Axel Collett, one of the largest landowners in Norway and a member of the English-born Collett family . She was married to the surgeon and Grand Master of the Masonic Order Bernhard Paus .
