Bernhard Cathrinus Paus (born November 9, 1910 in Christiania ; † February 9, 1999 in Agadir ) ( pronunciation : [ bæɳhaɖ pæʉs ]) was a Norwegian surgeon, lieutenant colonel and Grand Master of the Norwegian Order of Masons from 1969 to 1990. He was chief surgeon of Norwegian Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (NORMASH) during the Korean War , Chief Physician of the Norwegian Medical Services from 1951 to 1958, President of the Norwegian Military Medical Association and Director of the private Martina Hansen Hospital in Bærum from 1964 to 1980.

He was the son of the surgeon Nikolai Nissen Paus and belonged to the Paus family .

His wife Brita Collett Paus was involved in charities in Norway and his daughter Lucie Paus Falck is a politician.
