Sam Brody Jenner (born August 21, 1983 in Los Angeles , California, USA) is an American reality TV actor and model. He was best known for his role in the reality TV series The Hills on MTV .

Life

Brody Jenner was born and raised in Los Angeles . His parents are Linda Thompson, an actress and songwriter, and Caitlyn Jenner , then a male Olympic gold medalist and now an actress. He spent his childhood with Nicole Richie, among others . Jenner has one brother, four half-siblings, and four step-siblings. One of his stepsisters is Kim Kardashian .

He first became public attention in early 2005 when he hooked up with Kristin Cavallari , a reality starlet. In July 2005, a reality show started in which he starred alongside his brother Brandon Jenner and Spencer Pratt, called "The Princes of Malibu". The show was about the three should turn away from the beautiful and pleasant life in order to finally find a job. The show was canceled after only two episodes.

In 2006 he was in a relationship with Nicole Richie for a short time. A year later, in 2007, he starred in the MTV hit series The Hills . It is still the most-watched series MTV has ever had. In the series, the viewer learns, among other things, that he is good friends with Lauren Conrad , the leading actress, and has a relationship with Jayde Nicole , Playmate of the Year 2008. In 2008 he was nominated for the Teen Choice Award in the category "Choice TV Male Reality / Variety Star" (Eng .: Best Reality Actor).

Jenner got his own TV show that same year about making a friend for life called "Bromance". For the first time he was not only an actor, but also co-produced the program. Throughout the years he also modeled for Guess, OP and Cosmogirl, among others.

Jenner was dating the singer Avril Lavigne from March 2010 to January 2012 .
