Jayde Nicole (born February 19, 1986 in Scarborough , Ontario ) is a Canadian model , playmate and actress .

Career

Model career

Nicole began her modeling career at the age of six when she stood in front of the camera for catalogs and took part in fashion shows . She took a break from modeling at the age of eleven, but took it up again at 15 after being rediscovered by a model scout. Since then Nicole has taken part in many fashion shows and has appeared in various magazines such as Details , American Curves , FHM , Guitar World , Cosmo , Maxim and Vegas .

In 2007 she was Playmate of the Month January in Playboy , in 2008 she was voted Playmate of the Year. Alongside Sara Jean Underwood and Kara Monaco , among others , she was featured in the “Guitar Buyer's Guide 2011” of the music magazine Guitar World .

Jayde Nicole runs her own modeling agency called "A Touch of Class" in Port Perry .

Television career

Nicole made several appearances as herself on television series. For example, she appeared in the series The Girls of the Playboy Mansion , which most recently showed the lives of Hugh Hefner and his friends Crystal Harris , Karissa Shannon and Kristina Shannon in the Playboy Mansion , and in Holly Madison's docu-soap Holly's World . In 2010 she was seen alongside Claire Sinclair and Anna Sophia Berglund in the backdoor pilot The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House . She also appeared on the MTV series The Hills .

In 2009 Nicole made her acting debut in the film Un'estate ai Caraibi .

Personal

Jayde Nicole was dating the American reality TV actor and model Brody Jenner for 15 months . In addition to her modeling and acting professions, Nicole also works as a fitness trainer and nutritionist .

She participates in various charitable projects. For example, in 2013 she founded the animal welfare organization JNF Foundation and collected donations for an organization that works to fight AIDS in Africa. Nicole also stood in front of the camera for the animal rights organization PETA .

Trivia

Jayde Nicole is the first Canadian playmate since 1982 and the third after Dorothy Stratten and Shannon Tweed .
