Crystal Hefner , b. Harris (born April 29, 1986 in Lake Havasu City , Arizona ) is an American model , playmate and musician .

life and career

Harris' parents were British entertainers who worked at an England-themed amusement park in Lake Havasu City , Arizona . She has two older sisters. Harris attended La Jolla High School, after which she studied psychology at San Diego State University .

She met Hugh Hefner in 2008 at one of the famous Halloween parties at the Playboy Mansion . Since then she has spent more and more time in the famous residence of the Playboy founder, whom she got to know better and better. In 2009 she got into a relationship with Hefner and then moved into the Playboy villa. Through her relationship with Hefner, she was, alongside Kristina and Karissa Shannon , in the sixth season of the series The Girls of the Playboy Mansion . In 2010 she had an appearance alongside Anna Sophia Berglund and Claire Sinclair in the backdoor pilot The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House . She also appeared in four episodes of Kendra Wilkinson's docu-soap Kendra and two episodes of Holly Madison's television series Holly's World .

In December 2009 she was Playmate of the Month in American Playboy . Harris was featured on the cover of the July 2011 issue of the American playboy and was originally intended to be featured as Hefner's new wife in this issue. Since Harris ended his relationship with Hefner just a few days before the planned wedding and Playboy was already in print at that time, this could no longer be corrected. Instead, it was decided to put a sticker on the issue that read “Runaway Bride in this issue!” (In German, “The bride who doesn't dare in this issue!”). She was featured in the April 2011 issue of German Playboy.

Harris was under contract with Organica Music Group since 2010 . Her debut single Club Queen was released on June 14, 2011. The second single True Harmony followed on March 25, 2013 , the third single Call the Cops was released on September 16, 2013. On August 27, 2015 Harris also released her first album Pick up Lines , which contains seven tracks.

On December 26, 2010, Hugh Hefner announced his engagement to Crystal Harris - it would have been Hefner's third marriage. On June 14, 2011 - a few days before the planned wedding - Harris broke off the engagement with the 60-year-old Playboy founder. According to newspaper reports, Harris had been back with Hefner since June 2012. On December 31, 2012, Hefner and Harris were married.

Harris was not included in the will of 91-year-old Hugh Hefner, who died on September 27, 2017. Hefner's estate, estimated at approximately $ 43 million, was split between his children, the University of California, and charities, but Harris received none of it. In 2013, however, Hefner bought a house worth five million US dollars for Harris, so that Harris would be cared for after his death.
