Anna Sophia Berglund (born April 5, 1986 in San Pedro , Los Angeles , California , sometimes just Anna Berglund , since her marriage in 2018 also Anna Sophia Berglund Oconnell ) is an American model , playmate and actress .

Berglund began her acting career in 2007 with short appearances in individual episodes of the television series Desperate Housewives and Cavemen . In 2008 she was also seen in episode 2x23 of the Walt Disney television series with Miley Cyrus Hannah Montana .

Anna Sophia Berglund has been in contact with the American Playboy since 2009 . She appeared in four episodes of the television series The Girls of the Playboy Mansion , which most recently showed the life of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner with his wife Crystal Hefner and his friends Kristina and Karissa Shannon in the Playboy Mansion . In 2010, this resulted in a major appearance alongside Hugh Hefner, Crystal Hefner, Jayde Nicole and Claire Sinclair in the backdoor pilot for The Girls of the Playboy Mansion, The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House . Later Berglund appeared mainly as an actress. She was seen alongside Hugh Hefner and his wife Crystal Hefner in a commercial for the Dutch brewery Bavaria and embodied in the 2012 comedy Project X a female party guest at the celebration of the protagonist Thomas Kub, played by Thomas Mann . In the film, reference is made to Berglund's Playboy career by JB (Jonathan Daniel Brown) saying to Costa ( Oliver Cooper ) when the character played by Berglunds arrives , "I'm pretty sure that's the one from Playboy". Berglund's last acting appearance so far was in the US film Living Among Us in 2018 .

Personal

Berglund is of Swedish descent and has a younger brother. After finishing school, she studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, and in 2008 she graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in theater .

In 2011, Anna Sophia Berglund is said to have briefly had a relationship with Hugh Hefner after he temporarily separated from his future wife Crystal Hefner. Berglund has been married to the American actor Charlie O'Connell since 2018.
