Broflanilid is a chemical compound and an insecticide from the group of meta-diamides.

Broflanilide is a non-competitive antagonist of the RDL receptor , a GABA _A receptor .

The compound was discovered at Mitsui Chemicals Agro and will be approved by BASF over the next few years. Broflanilide has proven particularly effective against biting pests.
