Broken Fate is a metal band founded in Zurich in 2007 .
Band history
In 2007 Tobias John Bänteli and Alessandro De Cicco founded the band Broken Fate . In November 2008, Roman Leeser and Dario Stutz joined as bassist. In April 2009 the demo EP Demo with the titles Broken , I Don't Fall Alone and All Around Me was recorded. The first concert followed on April 18, 2009. Several concerts followed in German-speaking Switzerland.
In February 2010, Broken Fate produced their first music video for the song Take You Aeay .
In 2012 work began on the EP Rising to the Fream , which was completed in September 2012. The EP was produced by VO Pulver in the Little Creek Studio in Gelterkinden .
At the end of 2013, work began on the first album The Bridge Between . The album was recorded in 2014 at RD Liapakis' Music Factory Studios . The album was finished in August 2014 and has already been played at concerts. From June 2015 the band is under contract with Massacre Records and on November 6, 2015 the album The Bridge Between was released through this label .
In 2015 Leopold Stadelmann became the new lead guitarist . Roman Leeser left the band because he no longer wanted to devote himself fully to the project. In the same year the bassist Dario Stutz left the band and was replaced by Patrick Van Gunten in October 2015.
In 2016 the first professional tour through Europe took place with the band Anvil . The tour led u. a. through Norway , the Netherlands , Sweden and Germany . In November 2016, Gabriele Sacco joined the band as a further guitarist .
On April 6, 2020, the second album Reborn was released on Timezone Records. One day later on the band celebrated their 11th anniversary under the title 11 Years of Fate in Wohlen .
The band has currently played over 210 concerts across Europe.
