Broods is a New Zealand musical duo made up of Nelson and siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott.

history

Caleb and Georgia Nott grew up in a musical family with three older siblings and have performed together since childhood. In 2010 they won the local Richmond's Got Talent music competition. They were also members of the band The Peasants, which disbanded in 2012. To devote themselves to the Broods formation, Caleb and Georgia interrupted their studies at the University of Auckland .

Broods was founded in 2013 and works with music producer Joe Little, who chose the name Broods because of the family ties of the singers. Since December 2013 the duo has been under contract with Capitol Records and Polydor . Her debut album Evergreen was released on August 22, 2014.

With the title "Heartlines" they were selected by the fan clubs of the Eurovision Songs Contest (OGAE) for the country "Rest of the World" to take part in the OGAE Song Contest 2017.
