Cavok Airlines is a Ukrainian cargo airline based in Kiev and based at Chișinău Airport . It mainly operates charter flights to Europe .

history

Cavok Airlines was founded in 2011 and started operating on April 26, 2012 after receiving the Ukrainian AOC . She can fly worldwide.

Destinations

Only charter flights are offered, sometimes ad hoc. Cavok Airlines' aircraft often land in Germany . The airline maintains a base for up to four An-12s at Leipzig / Halle Airport . Scheduled flights are not offered.

Incidents

  • On July 29, 2017, the only Antonov An-74 ( aircraft registration UR-CKC ) of Cavok Air had an accident in São Tomé, Africa . The crew canceled take-off after a bird strike in the left engine, the aircraft overshot the end of the runway and landed in a ditch. Five crew members suffered injuries. The aircraft was so badly damaged that it had to be written off.
