The Brown Glacier is a glacier on the Lassiter Coast in the east of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows on the western flank of the Latady Mountains in a south-southeast direction to the Ketchum Glacier , which it reaches west of Gardner Inlet .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Lawrence Edward Brown, geologist on the USGS team that ran the glacier between Crossed 1969 and 1970.
