The administrative seat is the city of Beeston .

Other important places are Awsworth , Eastwood , Kimberley , Nuthall , Stapleford and Toton . Other settlements exist with Attenborough , Bramcote , Brinsley , Chilwell , Cossall , Giltbrook , Greasley , Moorgreen , Newthorpe , Strelley , Swingate , Trowell and Watnall .
