Bruce Frayne
Bruce Frayne ( Michael Bruce Frayne; born January 24, 1958 ) is a former Australian sprinter .
In 1981 he won silver over 200 m at the Pacific Conference Games .
At the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane in 1982 , he was fifth over 200 m and fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1983 he reached the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki over 200 m and the semi-finals in the 4 x 100 meter relay. In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he was eliminated in the run-up.
At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he reached the semi-finals over 400 m and was fourth in the 4-by-400-meter relay .
In 1985 he finished third in the Canberra World Cup of Athletics with the oceanic 4 x 400 meter relay, and in 1986 he finished seventh over 400 meters at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and won silver with the Australian 4 x 400 meters Relay.
In 1980, 1981 and 1983 he was Australian champion over 200 m and 1984 over 400 m.
The long and triple jumper Henry Frayne is his nephew.
