The Brugger Almbach , also Bruggeralmbach , is a stream in the municipality of St. Jakob in Defereggen ( Lienz district ). The stream rises west of the Ochsenlenke and flows into the Schwarzach at Lacken .
course
The Brugger Almbach has its source as an outflow from a mountain lake west of the Ochsenlenke, which lies between Wagenstein and the Great Degenhorn . The stream flows first in a westerly direction and then in a northwesterly direction through the high valley of the Brugger Almbach. Shortly after the Brugger Alm, the Ragötzbach joins on the left and the Brugger Almbach then flows in a northerly direction through pastures in the middle reaches. In the lower reaches of the Brugger Almbach plunges down a wooded gorge before entering the Schwarzach valley. It then flows past the Ausserrotte and the village of Lacken and flows west of Lacken into the Schwarzach.
