Bruno Adams

Bruno Adams (born September 2, 1963 in Bacchus Marsh , Victoria ; † April 18, 2009 in Berlin , Germany ; actually Bruce Adams ) was an Australian singer , songwriter and musician .

In 1984 Adams formed his band Once Upon a Time. She played in clubs in Melbourne from 1985 to 1988. In 1989, Once Upon a Time played with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds on their The Good Son European tour and settled in Berlin. Another European tour followed, this time with the Swans .

Her first album Once Upon a Time (after the band name) was released in 1990. Two years later, In the Blink of an Eye , which Mick Harvey , also drummer for Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, produced. Her last album, Don't Look Down , was released in 1994.

In 1996 Adams formed the band Fatal Shore with Phil Shoenfelt and Chris Hughes, the drummer of Once Upon a Time . The reason for this was a tour for war-ravaged Bosnia-Herzegovina. Together they released three albums, the last, Real World , was released in 2007 on the Hamburg label Amboss Recordings.

Bruno Adams had a "guest vocal appearance" on And.Ypsilon's song "Return Of The Lovers" on his album "Y-Files" (2003).

Adams died of cancer on the morning of April 18, 2009.
