Bruno Cadoré

Bruno Cadoré OP (born April 14, 1954 in Le Creusot , Burgundy ) is a French Roman Catholic priest and was Master of the Dominican Order from 2010 to 2019 .

Before joining the Dominican novitiate in 1979, he was a doctor specializing in bioethics . In 1980 he was fully accepted and ordained a priest on September 28, 1986 in Lille . He studied moral theology , where he received his doctorate in 1992 ( Dr. theol. ). Cadoré became Provincial of the Dominican Province of France . On September 5, 2010, at the General Chapter of the Order in Rome, he was elected Master of the Order (Magister Ordinis) of the Order and thus also Chancellor of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Pontifical and Royal University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Manila .
