Bruno Castendyk

Bruno Castendyk (born April 18, 1771 in Bremen , † March 15, 1814 in Bremen) was a lawyer and Senator from Bremen .

biography

Castendyk was the son of the businessman Bruno Castendyk (1736–1774) and his wife Catharina (1746–1835) and brother of Senator Gerhard Castendyk .
He was married to the pharmacist's daughter Susanna Henschen (1769–1848); both had seven children.

Like his brother, he attended a private school, from 1787 the Illustre high school in Bremen and from 1789 studied law at the University of Göttingen . In Göttingen he received his doctorate in 1792. jur.
He then worked as a lawyer .
From 1801 to 1814 (†) he was the successor of Gerhard Castendyk Bremen councilor / senator.
