Bruno Demke
Bruno Demke (born August 27, 1880 in Berlin ; † August 24, 1916 in Döberitz ) was a German racing cyclist .
Bruno Demke belonged from 1902 to 1914 to the first guard of the German stayer . He was extremely popular with the public and won numerous important races such as the European Grand Prix in 1910. However, he was denied great international success.
When the war broke out, Demke became a pilot. On August 24, 1916, he died in a crash at Döberitz airfield .
