Bruno Lawrence

Bruno Lawrence (real name David Charles Gilbert Lawrence , born February 12, 1941 in Brighton , England , † June 10, 1995 in Wellington , New Zealand ) was a musician and actor .

life and work

Although he was born in England, Lawrence lived in New Zealand for the majority of his life and frequently worked in Australia . He was a jazz drummer who played in various bands, including Blerta and The Crocodiles .

In Germany, Bruno Lawrence was better known as an actor who appeared in various feature films. The most famous film he starred in was Quiet Earth - The Last Experiment , which was the top-grossing New Zealand film at the time.

While filming Cosi in 1995, Lawrence was diagnosed with lung cancer and died of lung cancer a few months later. He left behind his wife and five children.
