Bruno Prada (born July 31, 1971 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian sailor who was successful at the Olympic Games and World Championships.

Up to the age of 14 Prada sailed the junior class Optimist , after which he switched to the laser , with which he became Brazilian and South American youth champion.

In 1989, he switched to the Finn class , with which he became Brazilian champion in 1993, 1997 and 1998. At the Pan American Games in 1999 , he was third.

In June 2006 he and Robert Scheidt won the silver medal at the Kiel Week in Germany in the two-person keelboat class Star, behind the Americans Marc Mendelblatt and Mark Strube . In the same year he also won the silver medal at the Star European Championships in Neustadt , again behind the two Americans.

In the following Olympics in Beijing, he won the Olympic silver medal together with Robert Scheidt in the Star class and bronze at the 2012 Olympics in London in the same category and with the same partner.

Bruno Prada has won the Star World Championship four times: 2007, 2011, 2012 together with Robert Scheidt and in 2016 with Augie Diaz .
