Bruno Steimer
Bruno Steimer (born July 5, 1959 ) is a Roman Catholic church historian .
Steimer comes from Saarland and, after graduating from high school at the Missionshaus in St. Wendel, studied Catholic theology and history in St. Augustin , Mainz and Regensburg . In 1986 he obtained his degree in Catholic theology. In 1991 he did his doctorate with Norbert Brox in Regensburg. theol. From 1994 to 2001 he was the chief editor of the Lexicon for Theology and Church . Today he works as a lecturer at Herder-Verlag in Freiburg .
