The Brunswick West district is about six kilometers north of the "Central Business District". The district is bounded to the west by Moonee Ponds, to the east by Grantham, Pearson and Shamrock Street, to the south by Parkville and to the north by Moreland Road.
Brunswick West consists mainly of residential areas and has only a few light industrial operations. The district borders the Tullamarine Freeway.
