Brushcreek Township is one of seventeen townships in Highland County , Ohio , USA . The 2000 United States Census found 1,308 people in the parish, of whom 1,150 lived in unparished parts of the parish.

Located in the southeast corner of the district, it borders the following communities:
- Paint Township - north
- Perry Township, Pike County - Northeast
- Mifflin Township, Pike County - East
- Franklin Township, Adams County - southeast corner
- Bratton Township, Adams County - Southwest
- Jackson Township - Southwest
- Marshall Township - northwest
The village of Sinking Spring is located in southeast Brushcreek Township.
Name and story
It is the only Brush Creek Township in the state, although there are Brush Creek Townships in Adams , Muskingum, and Scioto counties .
government
The community is governed by a board of three administrators, who are elected in November from odd years and begin a four-year legislative period from the following January 1st. Two are elected the year after the presidential election and one the year before. There is also an elected community finance officer who begins four years from April 1 of the year following the election held the year before the November presidential election. Gaps in the tax office or the management board are closed by the remaining administrators.
