Bryce Douvier (born December 1, 1991 in Salzburg ) is an American - Austrian basketball player.

career

Douvier's father Randy was a professional basketball player in Austria. After the family returned to the United States, he played basketball at the local high school in Sedgwick , Kansas . Between 2011 and 2013 he played and studied at the University of Northern Colorado before he decided to move to Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi . In the 2013/14 season he had to pause due to the NCAA's transfer regulations and was not allowed to participate in the game. Between 2014 and 2016 he played 67 missions for the university team and completed his university career with the 2015/16 season, in which he had scored 10.1 points and 6.7 points per game.

His first stop as a professional basketball player was the Portuguese first division club Ovarense Basquetebol . He posted an average of 15.3 points and 9.1 rebounds for the team in 35 league appearances. In the summer of 2017, Douvier signed a contract with the Italian second division club Blu Basket 1971 from the city of Treviglio . He left the team in January 2018. In 15 league games he had scored an average of 16.4 points. A few days later, his move to the Greek first division club Aris Thessaloniki was announced.

For the 2018/19 season, Douvier moved to the French second division Ujap Quimper . In 18 league appearances he was four times in the starting line-up. Overall, he achieved averages of 7.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per encounter. At the end of February 2019 he left Quimper for Spain, where he played for the second division Oviedo Club Baloncesto. Douvier stayed in Spain until the end of the 2018/19 game year, in August 2019 he was signed by the Polish first division club MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza.

National team

In the summer of 2011, Douvier was appointed to Austria's U20 national team, and in July 2017 he made his debut in the men's national team.
