In Kuria Atoll, northwest of Aranuka, there is also an island and a place of the same name with this name. The eponymous name originated from the settlement of clans of Kiribatians living on Tarawa , who had already founded a Burariki in northern Tarawa after the first wave of immigration, which was important for the history of Kiribati .
