The Bubu is a seasonal river in central Tanzania in the Dodoma region near the border with the Singida region .

It rises in the Manyara region on Mt Hanang at an altitude of 2,180 m. The catchment area of ​​the river is 12,661 km². It flows into the Bahi Swamp (also Sulunga Sea) about 50 km west of the capital Dodoma in the endorheic Bahi Depression .

Hydrometry
