Bud Sennett

Laurence A. "Bud" Sennett (born May 21, 1912 in St. Louis , Missouri , † July 25, 2003 in Keauhou Mauka , Hawaii ) was an American racing driver .

Sennett mainly drove stock car races and rallies. He took part in the Carrera Panamericana in 1950 and finished 5th overall in an Oldsmobile 88 . In 1951 he failed.

His only attempt to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 mile race failed in 1951 .

Sennett died in his adopted home Hawaii in 2003 at the age of 91 and was buried at sea .
