Buffet (hospitality)
Various simple restaurants are summarized under buffet .
Buffets are "catering establishments that are similar in appearance to a shop (sales counter ), the rooms being equipped in such a way that they only invite you to stay temporarily. As a rule, they are visited by people who want to consume small snacks , meals or drinks during a short period of time available for this . "
There are many types of buffet establishments. Examples are:

- Department store buffet
- Gas station buffet

In Austria, the operating modes, for example, snack bar (plenty of choice and quality upscale) and Mountain (Ausflugsgaststätte) from the buffet differed, as did canteen , canteen and cafeteria operations . In addition, the sausage stand and the Buschenschankbuffet are allowed according to § 111 Abs. 2, Zi. 3 resp. 5 trade regulations to be seen as independent trade .
