Bugo 2009

Bugo (* 2. August 1973 in Rho , Province of Milan , as Cristian Bugatti ) is an Italian singer-songwriter (songwriter) and artists.

Career

Bugatti grew up in Cerano ( Province of Novara ). He started during the military service , guitar playing, and worked subsequently in a punk band . In 1996 he presented his first self-produced demo Pane, pene, Pan on music cassette (it was re-released on CD in 2000). His first official single Questione d'eternità was released in 1999. Between 2000 and 2002 the musician released the albums La prima gratta and Sentimento Westernato as well as the EP Ne vale la pena? . He then left the musical underground and in 2002, Bugo's new album Dal lofai al cisei was released on the major label Universal .

The second album on Universal was Golia & Melchiorre (2004), followed by Sguardo contemporaneo (2006) and Contatti (2008); In these albums, Bugo moved stylistically between electronic music , rock and canzone d'autore . In addition to his musical career, he also appeared as a visual artist and supervised a number of exhibitions. In 2011 the film Missione di pace by Francesco Lagi was released , in which Bugo played and was responsible for the soundtrack . After the album Nuovi rimedi per la miopia (2011) and the accompanying tour, he announced his retirement from the stage in 2012. For a while he lived as an artist in India .

In 2015 Bugo signed another record deal, now with Carosello Records , and returned with the EP Arrivano i nostri . The following year the album Nessuna scala da salire was released . With the compilation Rockbugo in 2018 , the musician signaled his departure from the electronic influences that had shaped his work until then; the album contains rock versions of his older songs throughout. In the same year he published his first novel La festa del nulla with Rizzoli .
