The Hyundai Mistra ( Chinese : 北京 现代) is a mid-range sedan from the Hyundai Motor Company .

history

The vehicle was presented in April 2013 at the Shanghai Auto Show . The sedan is produced in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture . It is positioned between the Hyundai Elantra and the Hyundai Sonata . The Mistra went on sale in November 2013. In May 2017, the Mistra received a facelift . The car is not marketed outside of China. The Kia K4 introduced in 2014 is based on the Mistra.
