The Hyundai Santro is a subcompact car from the South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company that is sold in India . The Hyundai Atos was already sold as Hyundai Santro or Hyundai Santro Xing until 2014 . The Santro has been built again in India as an independent series since autumn 2018.

history

The market launch on the Indian market was October 23, 2018. Shortly before the market launch, over 23,500 online orders had been received within twelve days. The Suzuki Celerio , the Tata Tiago and the Renault Kwid are among the competing models for the Santro . In the model range, the vehicle is positioned between the Hyundai Eon and the Hyundai Grand i10 .

Technical specifications

The small car is powered by a 1.1-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 51 kW (69 hp). As standard it has a 5-speed manual transmission , optional 5-step is automatic available. The Santro can also be bought as a natural gas vehicle for an additional charge .
