The Hyundai Lafesta ( Chinese : 菲斯塔) is a mid-range sedan from the Hyundai Motor Company .
history
The vehicle was presented to the public in April 2018 at the Beijing Auto Show and has been built by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture since October 2018 . It is positioned in the Chinese market between the Hyundai Mistra and the Hyundai Sonata . The sedan is not offered in other markets.
Lafesta EV
A battery-electric version of the Lafesta EV has been available in China since March 2020. It should achieve an NEDC range of 490 km. An electric motor with 135 kW (184 PS) takes over the drive , the top speed is given by Hyundai at 165 km / h. The EV variant is a bit longer due to a new, more streamlined front and a bit higher due to the space required for the battery. The battery cells are to be purchased from CATL .
Technical specifications
The Lafesta is powered by a 1.4-liter petrol engine with 103 kW (140 PS) or a 1.6-liter petrol engine with 140 kW (190 PS) or 150 kW (204 PS). All versions have a 7-speed dual clutch transmission as standard .
