Grossouvre is a French municipality with 274 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond and the canton of Dun-sur-Auron (until 2015: canton of Sancoins ). The inhabitants are called Grossouvrois .
geography
Grossouvre is located about 50 kilometers southeast of Bourges on the Canal du Berry . Grossouvre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-Hugon in the north and northeast, Neuvy-le-Barrois in the east, Sancoins in the south, Vereaux in the west and Germigny-l'Exempt in the northwest.
