Saint-Baudel is a French commune of 250 people (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond and the canton of Châteaumeillant (until 2015: canton of Lignières ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Baudelois .

Saint-Baudel is located about 30 kilometers south-southwest of Bourges . Saint-Baudel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mareuil-sur-Arnon in the north and west, Primelles in the north, Venesmes in the east, Villecelin in the south and Chezal-Benoît in the west and southwest.
