geography

Verneuil is about 36 kilometers south-southeast of Bourges on the Canal du Berry . Verneuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Parnay in the north, Cogny in the northeast, Thaumiers in the east, Le Pondy in the southeast and Arpheuilles in the south and west.
