Givardon is a French municipality with 298 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond and the canton of Dun-sur-Auron (until 2015: canton of Sancoins ).

Givardon is about 48 kilometers southeast of Bourges . Givardon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sagonne in the north and northeast, Sancoins in the east, Augy-sur-Aubois in the southeast, Neuilly-en-Dun in the south and west, and Chaumont and Blet in the northwest.
