Drevant is located about 42 kilometers south-southeast of Bourges on the Cher , which forms the western and southern municipal boundaries. Drevant is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Amand-Montrond in the north and north-west, Colombiers in the east and south-east, Ainay-le-Vieil in the south, La Groutte in the west and south-west and Saint-Georges-de-Poisieux in the west and north-west.
