geography

Le Chautay is about 44 kilometers east-southeast of Bourges and about 14 kilometers west-southwest of Nevers on the Canal de Berry . Le Chautay is surrounded by the neighboring communities Menetou-Couture in the north, Torteron in the north and northeast, Cuffy in the east, La Guerche-sur-l'Aubois in the south and southwest and Saint-Hilaire-de-Gondilly in the west and northwest.
