Colombiers is about 42 kilometers south-southeast of Bourges . The Cher borders the community in the south. Colombiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Amand-Montrond in the north and north-west, Saint-Pierre-les-Étieux in the north-east, Coust in the east and south-east, Ainay-le-Vieil in the south and south-west and Drevant in the west.
