Augy-sur-Aubois is a French municipality with 290 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond and the canton of Dun-sur-Auron (until 2015: canton of Sancoins ).

Augy-sur-Aubois is about 50 kilometers southeast of Bourges on the Canal du Berry . Augy-sur-Aubois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Givardon in the north, Sancoins in the north and east, Lurcy-Lévis in the south and east, Saint-Aignan-des-Noyers in the south-west and Neuilly-en-Dun in the west and north-west.
