Augy-sur-Aubois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Givardon in the north, Sancoins in the north and east, Lurcy-Lévis in the south and east, Saint-Aignan-des-Noyers in the south-west and Neuilly-en-Dun in the west and north-west.
